Our Mission

Responsible volunteers enhancing the opportunity for the people of Clare County to care for one another.

What We Do

United Way of Clare County has been meeting needs in our community for 16 years. Our service area includes all of Clare County. Through our network of member agencies, volunteers and community leaders, we take a leadership role in addressing health and human service issues that face Clare County. Governed by a local board of directors, United Way of Clare County is an independent community resource.

Volunteers raise funds for our community's most critical health and human care needs. Experienced volunteers and professionals distributed those funds to 23 programs at 17 human service agencies this year. The Fund Distribution Committee (FDC) volunteers review agency budgets and services provided then make informed decisions about how your donations are spent.

United Way of Clare County is a leader with the unique ability to bring the community together to focus resources and to provide solutions for the most important needs in our community. We pledge to deliver results and appreciate your commitment.
